Music Monday: Johnny Cash-"I Walk the Line"

This Music Monday, I thought it only appropriate to honor Johnny Cash. He would have been 80 years old yesterday.

Here is "The Man in Black" wearing white.

I admire how he was a man that wasn't afraid to admit his mistakes.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space."

Well said, Mr. Cash.

I danced to my daddy singing Johnny Cash and playing his guitar every night when I was a small girl. I would dance in the kitchen and make my family laugh! When we would have family gatherings on the weekends, Daddy and Uncles would play guitars. Momma played piano. As the years went by, I realized I had memorized so many of Johnny's songs through my own daddy. I still love Johnny Cash and sing his songs! But mostly for the warm feeling of love I shared with my family that they help me recall. Thanks for the post!
Blessings,
Susie
